Following its association with renowned medical events such as FOGSI-FIGO 2016, World Trauma Congress 2016, and the International Cancer Congress 2016, Docplexus was chosen as the ‘Knowledge Partner’ of the recently concluded IPHACON 2017, held at AIIMS Jodhpur.
IPHACON, the annual national conference of the Indian Public Health Association (IPHA) is attended by leading public health experts comprising doctors, managers, engineers, sociologists, and epidemiologists. It witnesses an average footfall of 2000 delegates and plays an important role in devising solutions to various public health challenges in the country.
As a ‘Knowledge Partner’, Docplexus will bring its members digital coverage of the conference’s key proceedings including KOL interviews, via a dedicated microsite. Notes Dr. Pankaja Raghav, Professor and HOD – Community Medicine, AIIMS Jodhpur,

Dr. Pankaja Raghav 1The collaboration between Docplexus and IPHACON 2017 has worked well. We are spreading public health messages all over the nation by associating with Docplexus.

Such partnerships are closely aligned to Docplexus’ goal of improving millions of patient outcomes each year. Says Dr. K. Srinath Reddy, President – Public Health Foundation of India,

Dr. Reddy 1Doctors are agents of change as they command respect in the society and can educate the community with information. Public health and clinical medicine should not be seen as separate compartments but as a continuum of care which starts with promotion and ends with rehabilitation.

This collaboration is yet another example of the widespread benefits brought in by healthcare digitization. According to Dr. Prabir K. Das, eminent public health specialist and National President – IPHA, “Without digitization and electronic media, we cannot reach to the rural as well as the urban masses. There is no doubt that we have to strengthen digital initiatives.”
Digital health initiatives enjoy governmental support for their hugely positive impact on taking medical care to the masses and Docplexus is playing a critical role in empowering doctors belonging to the hinterlands. In this video interview given to Docplexus at IPHACON 2017, Shri P.P. Choudhary, Minister of Electronics and IT, Government of India speaks of the use of technology to improve healthcare outcomes in the semi-urban and rural areas:
